We are pleased to announce that Tomoko Nerrie has joined Ozawa, Kaneko and Associates LLP as a new partner starting in May.

Tomoko graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2000 and obtained her CPA license while gaining accounting and tax experience in Silicon Valley

From 2006 to 2019, she was a member of Ernst & Young’s Corporate Tax Department for about 13 years, specializing in corporate tax accounting and auditing (tax effect accounting) and corporate tax compliance, and providing services tailored to the needs of a variety of clients, from start-ups to multinational companies, regardless of industry or sector genre. For 3 years from 2019, She was Director, Global Tax and Accounting at Rakuten Medical, Inc. where She supported company operations and management and experienced practical work that is difficult to see from a consultant’s perspective.

From May 2022, she is working as a Tax Partner at Ozawa Kaneko and Associates, providing corporate and individual tax return preparation services as well as tax consulting services.
